Our story
AI Skill Notebook started with an observation: most AI tools are built for developers—or they assume you’re comfortable with code.
For everyone else, AI often stays in “chat mode”: helpful for answers, but hard to turn into real, repeatable productivity.
So we built a desktop app that makes AI practical for everyday work. With AI Skill Notebook, you can run multiple AI agents together, connect them to real project files and context, and reuse proven workflows—so AI becomes something you use to get work done, not just something you talk to.

FAQ
WDo I need to pay?
AI Skill Notebook itself is free to use. You’ll need your own AI account (like ChatGPT Plus, Gemini Pro, etc.), which is usually a paid subscription. Some skills are also paid—authors may charge before you can add them to your projects.
Does AISN upload my files by default?
No. AISN is local-first. When you run a request, only the content needed for that request is sent to your configured AI provider.
Can I create my own skills?
Yes. Skills are lightweight bundles (with a required SKILL.md plus optional docs and references) designed to make best practices reusable.
Is AISN for teams or solo builders?
AISN is fully local-first. Each device is its own account, and sign-in is only used to browse the skill catalog and purchase paid skills. If you want to work with a team, you can place your workspace in a shared folder(e.g., a synced drive) or simply send the workspace files to others.Workspaces are built on open formats like Markdown and CSV, so everything stays editable and portable.
